Who are we
Avenger Robotics is the newest FIRST Robotics program in Forsyth County, Georgia. Founded in 2018, the Avengers call the Alliance Academy for Innovation home. Avenger Robotics provides students with real world experience in industrial robotic technologies, leadership, and a competitive working environment.
CollaborationStudents in FIRST Robotics programs engage in collaboration with hundreds of different personalities throughout a season. |
VolunteeringAvengerRobotics team members employ a community based approach to their education, serving as volunteers at any opportunity. |
Adaptive ThinkingCompetitive robotics creates an environment that challenges student thinking both in planning, and through real time challenges. |
"FIRST is more than robots. The robots are a vehicle for students to learn important life skills. Kids often come in not knowing what to expect - of the program nor of themselves. They leave, even after the first season, with a vision, with confidence, and with a sense that they can create their own future." - Dean Kamen
OUR MissionTo inspire young men and women to become successful STEM leaders within our community by engaging individuals in compelling and exciting hands-on opportunities with robots and technology. |
First Let'sPlay
Avenger Robotics believes first and foremost in making learning fun. FIRST Robotics is an experience of a lifetime. FIRST competitions create positive environments of learning, play, and relationship building.
|
Now let'sVolunteer
Avenger Robotics runs on volunteers. The African proverb "it takes a village to raise a child" has never been more true. Robotics is a team effort for the students, and more importantly, those who want to see them succeed.

Our FutureImpact
FIRST alumni are 2.6 times more likely to enroll in engineering as college freshman, and over 75 % more likely to be in a STEM field as a student or professional.
